Tracy’s big chop brings in cash for Breast Cancer Campaign

Tracy Dungey has had her shoulder-length locks lopped off raising £600 for Breast Cancer Campaign as part of Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Each year stationery manufacturer Pentel holds a Wear It Pink day in support of the charity, and this year Tracy took it upon herself to do something a little different
in support of the cause. Swindon College students Sara Colwell and Sasha Harris visited the office to do the deed after getting in touch with the company.

In total the whole day raised an additional £1,200 for the charity, of which Pentel has been a partner since 2006.

Wendy Vickery, the marketing manager at Pentel said: “Each year we hold Wear It Pink Day but this year Tracy, who knows someone who has been diagnosed with breast cancer, took it upon herself to have her head shaved, and it was a brave thing to do because her hair was beyond her shoulders. She originally hoped to raise £500 but she actually managed to raise £600.”
