Pentel has launched an exciting new range of planet-friendly presentation and filing products called ‘Recycology’.

As the name suggests the products are made from recycled materials – in each case more than 50% recycled content; they use fewer valuable virgin resources and produce no toxic gases when burned.

The Recycology range includes display books and presentation files, clip files, document organisers, document envelopes and refill pockets - all in a range of fresh colours and sizes. With many special features in this range including non-reflective refill pockets, side opening display books, ‘wing’ pockets for easy insertion of display material and a unique locking mechanism for the document envelope, Pentel has shown that recycled products to not have to be of inferior quality.

Wendy Vickery, Pentel Marketing Manger, says, “Often, the perception is that if you want to opt for a recycled product you have to sacrifice your expectations of quality. Pentel has an excellent reputation for quality and we wouldn’t be comfortable launching a range of filing and presentation products if we thought for a moment that they didn’t offer the same high quality that our customers experience every day in our writing instruments.

“The Recycology concept focuses on the cornerstone of environmental sustainability, the three Rs: recycle, reduce, reuse. The products are made using recycled materials; their quality is excellent, so they last a long time and reduce the need to keep buying replacements and they can be refilled and reused, avoiding duplication and waste.”

Although there are numerous filing products on the market made from recycled cardboard, until the launch of Recycology from Pentel there has been no complete range of filing products made from recycled polypropylene. Further good news is that, despite its superior quality, the Recycology range is actually very competitively priced when compared to best-selling brands in the market. Wendy Vickery says, “This is one of the most exciting stationery launches in years. The Recycology range offers excellent value products that don’t cost the earth – literally and metaphorically. It also represents Pentel’s commitment as a global business to re-use resources where possible.”

The Recycology filing and presentation range from Pentel will be available from office stationery suppliers and retailers.
