Pentel excited to attend London Stationery Show 2013
Pentel (Stationery) UK are excited to be making their debut at the London Stationery Show on April 23-24, 2013.
Looking to build on the success of 2012 Pentel will be showcasing the innovative EnerGel product range. With its quick-drying and smooth flowing ink EnerGel makes smudges a thing of the past. Left-handed writers, as well as right, need no longer worry about messy ink splodges as their hand moves across the page.
During 2012 Pentel saw a +70% growth in sales volume across the range of EnerGel products. This year on year growth has been driven by a number of key factors including the 2012 TV campaign – which aired during the key back to school period – new product launches, increased listings and the growth of charity supported products. Pentel’s range of special edition charity pens is proving increasingly popular and has raised nearly £800,000 for Breast Cancer Campaign and £200,000 for Prostate Cancer UK.
As well as the EnerGel range, Pentel will also be showing off the Maxiflo Dry Wipe Marker. Presentations never looked better, thanks to Maxiflo, with its vivid colour and easily erased liquid ink. But the real talking point is Maxiflo’s unique push-button system that sends a fresh supply of ink to the tip even if you’ve left the cap off accidentally for a couple of hours. Maxiflo lasts three times longer than Pentel’s standard dry wipe marker, so it’s budget-friendly too.
As well as newcomers, an old favourite will be featured on the stand. The Sign Pen celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2013. The original fibre-tipped pen, Sign Pen was used by President Lyndon B. Johnson and even went into space on the Gemini 6 and 7 rendezvous in 1966, chosen because it would not leak.
