Paint a delicious rainbow ice cream

Add a splash of summer colour to your creativity with this fun ice cream project, created using our Milky Brush Pens.

Start with the ice cream itself, using a selection of colourful Milky Brush Pens. Layer different shades working the colours into one another to create a fun, multicoloured effect. Try combining pastel pinks, purples, blues, greens and yellows for an ice cream that looks almost good enough to eat!

Continue adding and overlapping the colours allowing the different shades to blend together. Use the flexible brush tip to create both broad areas of colour and finer strokes, building up the shape and texture of the ice cream scoop as you go.

Once your colourful scoop is complete, move on to the cone. Use a warm brown or golden shade to fill the cone, then add darker lines to create the classic waffle pattern. The contrast between the colourful ice cream and golden cone really makes the design pop.

Finally, add any extra highlights or pops of colour to your ice cream to give it more depth and character. The opaque, pastel shades of the Milky Brush Pens makes it easy to layer bright colours and add details.
