National Handwriting Day ‘X’ Giveaway T&C’s

The competition, run on the Pentel UK ‘X’ (Twitter) page, is for 25 winners to win an EnerGel Xm Retractable Pen.

By entering the competition (the “Promotion”) you (the “participant”) agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Any information or instructions published by the Promoter about the Promotion on Pentel’s X page www.twitter/PentelUK  form part of these terms and conditions.

The Promoter

The Promoter of this Promotion is Pentel (Stationery) Limited, Hunts Rise, South Marston Business Park, Swindon, Wiltshire, SN3 4TW, and the Promoter shall not be liable for any interruption to this Promotion whether due to force majeure or other factors beyond the Promoter’s control.

Entry Eligibility

1. The Promotion is open to residents of Great Britain aged 13 and over.
2. Where the participant is less than 18 years of age, the participant must obtain the consent of his/her guardian before entering into the Promotion. The Promoter reserves the right to obtain proof of such consent and refuse entry or to choose another winner if such proof, where requested, has not been given.
3. Employees or agents of the Promoter or any of their group companies, or their families or households or anyone professionally connected to this Promotion are not eligible to enter.
4. Entry to this competition is free and no purchase of any kind is required to participate.
5. Any personal data received by Pentel will not be used for marketing purposes and will only be retained in order to send out prizes. This information will be destroyed within 7 days of the competition ending and the prizes being sent out.

HOW TO ENTER & THE DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES

6. Entries will be accepted from Tuesday 23^rd January 2024.
7. The competition ends midnight Thursday 25^th January 2024 and entries submitted after this date will NOT be accepted.
8. To enter the competition, participants need to tell us their two favourite colours of EnerGel Xm Retractable (BL77)
9. Enter via X – Twitter to be in with a chance of winning.
10. Participants may only enter the Promotion once. Duplicate entries will be removed from the Promotion.

 THE PRIZE

11. An EnerGel Xm Retractable Pen
12. The winner will be announced within 3 days of the competition ending.
13. The winner will have 14 days from the date of notification to claim their prize.
14. In the event that a winner is unreachable, ineligible, or fails to claim the prize in the time required, the winner shall forfeit their prize and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to another participant.
15. The prize is as stated and there will be no substitutes or cash alternatives.
16. The prizes will be posted to the winners.
17. The Promoter, cannot be held liable for any injury, loss or damage of any kind arising from a winner’s (and where applicable, guest’s) use of the prize.
18. The Promoter reserves the right to publish the names of the winners.

MISCELLANEOUS

19. All the Promoter’s decisions relating to the Promotion are final and binding. No correspondence about the Promotion will be entered into.
20. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, X – Twitter. Entrants are providing information to the Promoter and not to X – Twitter. By entering the promotion, entrants will be deemed to have released X – Twitter from any and all liability arising from their participation in the promotion or out of, pursuant to, or as a result of the carrying out of the promotion.
21. The Promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to add to or waive any of these terms and conditions, or to cancel the competition at any stage, in the event of circumstances arising beyond its reasonable control.
