Pentel UK’s Floatune Retractable Wins Writing Instrument of the Year at the Stationery Awards 2025

Pentel UK is celebrating a prestigious win at this year’s Stationery Awards, with its ground-breaking Floatune Retractable rollerball named Writing Instrument of the Year (up to £10).

The announcement was made on Tuesday 13th May at the close of the first day of the London Stationery Show, held at the Business Design Centre, where industry leaders gathered to recognise the very best in stationery innovation.

The Floatune Retractable is the next-generation rollerball from Pentel – and it’s rewriting the rules when it comes to writing performance. Developed with a newly engineered fusion ink, combining both water and oil-based components, Floatune delivers an exceptionally smooth and effortless writing experience.
